Our first date was skating in Springer Square Market, where Keeley of course was running late. It was cold, the ice was bumpy, but something was heating up! We headed to Kingston Brew Pub for dinner. Connor cites Keeley eating wings on the first date (what else is new) as the moment he knew he liked her. The conversation flowed, and a second date was arranged for the next morning.

For our second date we met by the waterfront in Kingston, on what must have been the coldest, windiest day of the year. We must have REALLY liked each other (or maybe Keeley just took a real liking to Remmy) as we braved the weather for at least 20 minutes before admitting defeat and heading back to our respective cars. But don't worry, we didn't let the damp weather get us down!

We both always say it was a slow burn, our first 8 months of seeing each other included both of us being out of the city or country for a few weeks, but we were certainly excited to see each other each time we returned! We bonded over our shared love of Peterborough, the outdoors, all things local, and food!

Eventually, we made everything official. We learned we loved each others families and friends as much as we loved each other, and have continued to grow our lives together.

A move to Peterborough, new jobs, purchasing a house, and an engagement later, we cannot wait to share our love with the people who matter most to us!
