Keisha and Matthew met in 2023, while Matt was enrolled at Depot in Regina, SK. Matt was fulfilling his life long dream of becoming an RCMP Member. Matt was just entering his last two weeks in Regina when Keisha swiped right.

As fate would have it , they met for the first time at a Saskatchewan Rough Rider's game. Their connection was strong, and they both knew it.

Matt asked Keisha out the next day , for their first date at The TAP, where they shared an afternoon together , which turned into a two-week long love story.

At the end of Matt's time at Depot, he had been posted to Fort Vermilion, Alberta . Which unfortunately was not just down the street from Keisha's residence. They decided to take the next step and try long distance, and it wasn't long before Keisha's new home away from home, was also up in Fort Vermilion.

Keisha made the move in October of 2023, and they could not be more happy. Along with Keisha also came her loving companion, her fur-baby Kitahna. A great big Saint Bernard with the soul of a gentle giant.

It only took Matt and Keisha two months up North before they decided that Kitahna needed a sibling. They trecked off to La Crete, AB, and picked up little Finnegan. Small but mighty, Finnegan had no issues at all settling in.

Fast forward to January of 2025, Matt did what Keisha had hoped for since the day they met. They took a weeekend getaway to Banff, Ab, where Matt asked the big question. And of course, Keisha said YES.

Life could not have been more exciting.. Until July of 2025 when Matt and Keisha brought home their 3rd fur-baby. A Golden named Sunnie who brought so much joy to their now family of 5.

Maybe by chance, but they think it was just meant to be. Keisha and Matt made Fort Vermilion their temporary home. They can not wait for what the future holds, and to see where this magical journey will take them.
