Dylan and Kelcy met during the height of Covid. Their first date, on October 24, 2020 at Eli’s in Hamden, included a mask! Even after all of that, Kelcy told her friends immediately after their first date that she knew Dylan was the one.

With Dylan having a non- traditional work schedule, being a first responder, they still made time to see each other every week. Kelcy would stay with Dylan during his days off and it was always the hardest “see you next week” when he would have to return to work and Kelcy would go home.

In February of 2022, after both deciding they didn’t want to spend any more time apart, Kelcy moved in with Dylan (and his two fur babies Gracie and Macie) and their relationship blossomed. That summer, they added four more paws to their family, welcoming Colby to the mix.

Dylan proposed to Kelcy on Friday, October 25, 2024, and needless to say Kelcy said yes!

Both Dylan and Kelcy are so excited for this new chapter and are looking forward to celebrating with their friends and family!
