Mason and Kelli met in college at Mitchell Tech. They were introduced through a mutual friend and began to hang out as new friends during the fall of 2021. They were part of a mutual weekly college bowling friend group. The more they were together, the closer they became. However, Kelli claimed there was nothing between them, and continually pushed the thought of a relationship away. But it seems like God had other plans. He made it impossible for her to push him away forever and gave Mason the strength to keep trying :). On December 8th, 2021 Mason asked Kelli to officially be his girlfriend and she agreed! Throughout their relationship, the couple has had many adventures, road trips, events, holidays, and memories together. On June, 3rd 2023, Kelli and Mason went on a double date with Kelli's college roommate. Little did Kelli know that her best friend and Mason had a secret they had been keeping. That day, Mason proposed and of course Kelli said yes! The couple has been inseparable since the start (though they may not have understood at first) and God continues to show through their relationship and strengthens them day after day. They are excited to see what life has in store for them, and they couldn't have asked for a better person to each have by their side through it all.

Is there a dress code?

We wish for our guests to be comfortable, yet dressed nicely!&nbsp;Sunday best would be appreciated! Please remember how unpredictable South Dakota can be though! Make sure to check the weather for the day!&nbsp;

What do we do when we arrive?

Once you arrive, please park BEHIND the venue (ushers will be available for directions). Once parked, please find a seat in the outdoor Pavilion. We are all family, so please be seated where you wish! Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Ceremony will begin at 4 o'clock.

Dinner and Reception

After the social hour, you can make your way into the event hall. There is no seating chart, however please respect the few reserved tables. After dinner, speeches, and all special dances are complete, you are welcome to flood the dance floor to enjoy the rest of the evening! Card games and yard games are provided to utilize as well!

what meal is provided?

Dinner will be Midwest style potluck buffet. The main dish will be pulled pork with a variety of sides (ex. chips, salads, and desserts.)&nbsp;

So...Alcohol?

We will have a cash bar available. We want to emphasize NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL or HARD LIQUOR is allowed! This is venue regulation and we ask that this is respected. You are free to utilize the bar as you wish! Cards and cash are accepted! Enjoy!

Can we take our own photos?

We love that you want to have memories from our special day! However, we do ask our guests to please limit the use of cameras and phones during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer named Augusta that will be here, specifically to be taking photos! Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you wish! We would love to see our special day through our guests' eyes. If you post your photos, please post them with our wedding tag #almostamaral

Do we need to travel between locations?

No travel needed! Our entire day is located at the same venue. The ceremony will be outside and reception will be in the event hall. There will be no need for you to travel the day of!

Will transportation be available?

We will NOT have transportation services available after the reception. If you plan on drinking, please be safe and have a ride available at the end of the night.

Facts

We have a locked in rate on rooms available for the nights of September 26th-29th. Double Queen Rooms are available until hotel fills up. Please try to book your stay 30 days prior (end of August), to ensure you can get a room locked in at the set rate!
