At Northshore's waterfront, Coolidge Park features a restored 100-year-old carousel, a pavilion, an interactive play fountain, the Outdoor Chattanooga Center and lots of open space. It is a popular destination for concerts, festivals, fundraisers and special events. Our beautiful fountains operate from May 1st till Labor Day weekend, daily from sunrise to sunset.
A short walk across the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge allows visitors to enjoy parks and amenities on both sides of the Tennessee River. On the south side, the bridge is located between the Tennessee Aquarium and the Hunter Museum of American Art. On the north side, connects visitors to Coolidge Park, Renaissance Park and many shops, galleries, restaurants, and arts groups.

CDM is a nonprofit organization, prime tourist attraction, the region’s expert in experiential learning and a vital educational resource collaborating with community partners across our region.
