Where are the ceremony and reception?

The wedding reception and ceremony will both be taking place on site at the Revere. (8617 Hwy 136 West, Dawsonville, GA 30534)

What is the dress code for the wedding? Are there any colors to avoid?

This will be a black tie wedding. Men should plan to wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Women should wear floor-length gowns. Ladies, if possible, please try to avoid all shades of white, ivory, cream or light blue, out of respect for the bride and bridal party. We look forward to celebrating with you in style!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Unfortunately, guests who arrive late will NOT be allowed entry to the ceremony. We suggest arriving between 3:45 and 4:15. If you catch the shuttle from the hotel, it will get you to the ceremony site on time.

Will there be parking on site?

There will be complimentary, valet parking on site. If you plan to drink, please consider taking advantage of our complimentary shuttles that transport guests between one of our two preferred hotels and the wedding venue.

What hotels would you recommend?

We have arranged for room blocks at the Holiday Inn and Amicalola Lodge. There will be shuttles that transport guests between either hotel and the venue. See the "Travel" tab for additional information.

What time do the shuttles run?

Shuttles will depart from Amicalola Lodge / Holiday Inn at 3:45 PM at the latest. We recommend boarding the shuttles around 3:30 PM. At the end of the night, shuttles will leave The Revere at 10:30 PM and 12:15 AM to return guests to their hotels.

Wait... it says that check in time at Amicalola Lodge is 4:00 PM... but the shuttles depart at 3:45 PM? That's before check in!

We have spoken with Amicalola Lodge and provided them with our wedding guest list. While they will do their best to have guest rooms ready for early check in, they cannot guarantee it. If you plan to use our shuttles, there is a small chance you may have to check in to your room after you return from the wedding. Alternatively, you can drive / Uber to the venue if you prefer! Keep in mind that the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM.

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

YES! There will be an open bar, with premium wine, beer, and cocktails, courtesy of the bride, groom, and their families.

Are children invited to the wedding?

With the exception of our flower girl / ring bearer, we are planning an adults-only wedding. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to us via text or email.

Where is the rehearsal dinner taking place?

The rehearsal dinner will also take place at The Revere. Please note that this event is invitation-only.

Are children invited to the rehearsal dinner?

If you have received an invitation to the rehearsal dinner, your children are welcome to attend as well. Please just let us know when you RSVP or via text / email.

Is the ceremony / reception indoors?

We are currently planning for an outdoor ceremony / cocktail hour, and an indoor reception. In the event of bad weather, we will move all events indoors.

What time will the wedding reception end? Will there be an after party?

The reception will end around 10 pm. At that time, guests will be encouraged to go outside to "send off" the bride and groom. The bride and groom will take a short ride, and come back to party on! Guests will be able to choose between an "early" shuttle, which will leave after the send off, and a "late" shuttle that will leave after the after party.

What can we expect at the after party?

The after party will take place on site at the beautiful Groom's Lodge. You can expect tasty late-night snacks, drinks, games, and lots of fun! Can't wait to see you there!

What type of food will be served at the wedding? Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We plan to have a variety of foods to accommodate as many paletes and dietary restrictions as possible. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP!

What is the weather like in Georgia at the end of September?

We are hoping for lovely weather. Typically, at the end of September, the temperature is in the lower 80's / upper 70's during the day and cools to the 60's in the evening.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Please only bring a plus-one if you have RSVP'd accordingly.
