To anyone who has never been (and especially those staying at the Amicalola Lodge already), we would definitely recommend hiking Amicalola Falls! There are a LOT of stairs, but very early in their relationship, Kelly made Michael hike the entire set of stairs when he was pretty hungover...so if he can do it, so can you!!! The waterfall is beautiful and so worth the hike!

Kelly & Michael visited Gibbs Gardens on their second anniversary & absolutely LOVED it! The gardens are so vast and absolutely breathtaking! If you love fresh air and outdoor strolls, this activity is definitely for you!

Not really an outdoorsy person? We promise we still love you. The North Georgia Premium outlets can be a fun place for shopping, and is a little over 20 minutes from our venue! I guess you do still have to walk around outside a bit for this activity though... technically...

Helen is a cute little walkable German town with lots of little shops, live music on the weekends, wonderful food, and tasty desserts! Kelly and Michael travel to Helen about once or twice a year and often look forward to seeing local musicians playing at Hoffbrohaus. If you're going, definitely stop by the Hansel & Gretel chocolate shop! I promise you won't regret it!
