Sister of the bride- The Anna to my Elsa. Katelyn is not only my little sister, she's my first best friend. She's someone who has stood by me through everything our whole lives. I'd be lost without her. Getting to grow up with a built in best friend is an experience like no other. From basement sleepovers and sharing secrets to stealing each other's clothes and random Target runs, she makes every moment memorable. She lights up every room she enters and never fails to make me laugh. She's truly the greatest ray of sunshine and by far the most loyal person I've ever met. Words can't express how lucky I am to have her in my life.
Graden Knapp - Best Man
Friend of groom-I met Graden in class during my sophomore year of college when he recognized my screen name on the back of my hoodie. At first, I thought I had just made another friend with whom I could play games, and while this is true, our relationship grew to a level that far surpassed this idea. From late-night talks to snowy Kroger runs, I was not only living with a friend but also gaining a brother. Graden has always been there for me whenever I needed it, even if he had no understanding or experience of what I was going through. I am beyond honored to call Graden my best man.
Katie Golway - Matron of Honor
Sister of the bride- Married to my older brother, Ryan, Katie has become a vital piece of my life over the years. From the second she met me and Katelyn, she took us under her wings and pretty immediately became a big sister to both of us. Katie's calm and steady presence is one that I'm grateful for. She is one of the most level-headed people I know and I can always rely on her to not only give advice, but to tell me things I might not want to hear. Her love and support has always been unwavering. Having her in my life is truly a blessing.
Thomas Thoburn - Best Man
Friend of the groom- Like Graden, I also met Thomas during my sophomore year of college when Graden somehow convinced him to add “Understanding Organization Communication” to his classes for the semester. Living in a college house with three guys is about how you’d expect it, but like Graden, not only did I gain great friends and roommates, I gained a brother during our time together. Thomas, thank you for the constant music, the long phone calls, the deep talks, and all the love and laughter I didn’t know was missing. I am honored to call Thomas my best man.
Olivia Reid-Benner - Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride- Liv's friendship is one of the most important ones in my life. My concert buddy. My gym buddy. My Friends buddy. My margarita and Comfy buddy. There's nothing we can't talk about and we never seem to run out of things to say. One of my favorite things about our friendship is that the second it's just the two of us, we can sit there and talk for hours upon hours without even realizing. In the early years of our friendship she taught me to not care so much about what people thought of me. She makes my world brighter and I'm honored she agreed to stand beside me on my wedding day.
Shem Enriquez - Groomsman
Friend of groom- I met Shem when I started my first job at Kroger when I was 16. Shem was a few years older than me and had some time at Kroger under his belt. As I’m sure you know, I can be shy and reserved sometimes, and my time at Kroger was no different. Shem helped me come out of my shell and establish myself in the world outside of school. We have stayed close friends ever since and continue to talk, hang out regularly, and help each other through the inevitable curveballs that life throws us. I know I can always count on him for a laugh I am honored to have him stand by my side.
Emma Griffin - Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride- Emma is one of my oldest and truest friends. We met in eighth grade and became friends fairly quickly. To me, Emma is the friend where it will never matter how much time passes between us seeing each other or talking in depth, we always, without fail, pickup where we left off. Emma's friendship is one of pure comfort. We've truly seen the best and worst of each other and we only allowed those experiences to strengthen our relationship. Emma is the definition of a lifelong friend.
Ryan Golway - Groomsman
Future brother-in-law of groom- At first, Ryan was intimidating: He was the big brother of the girlfriend, but this feeling quickly faded once I got to know him. It has been a pleasure to get to know Ryan. He's always served as a role model for me. He has genuinely illustrated the control and poise I wish to have one day. He has always supported me in whatever way he can and is always willing to share his perspective. I'm grateful to be gaining a brother and a friend for life. I am honored to have him stand at my side.
Natalie Hutchinson - Bridesmaid
Friend and former roommate of the bride- Living with Natalie turned out to be one of the most amazing and important experiences of my life. The environment that we lived in was one that lacked judgment, had lots of singing, laughing, Mario games, and Animal Crossing. Natalie helped me learn to love myself. It didn't matter if I needed to cry, needed a laugh, or just wanted to lay on her bed while she studied, her door was always open. Natalie is one of the best people you could ever have on your side.
Jonah Aldridge - Groomsman
Friend of groom-Jonah has been a friend of mine since middle school. He and I were good friends then, but our friendship took off in high school. Jonah is the friend I have played the most sports with. He and I played basketball and soccer together in middle and high school and indoor soccer during the winters and summers. On top of that, we had countless sleepovers and late-night gaming sessions. I even traveled to Alabama for a University of Alabama Gameday weekend, probably my favorite memory with Jonah. I am honored to have Jonah by my side.
Lauren Gearheart - Bridesmaid
Friend and former roommate of the bride- Sweet, beautiful Lauren. I had the honor of living with Lauren at the same time I lived with Natalie. Between the two of them, I couldn't ask for more. Lauren is such a pure soul. She taught me that it doesn't matter how old I am, I can always stay in touch with my inner child. She taught me that there shouldn't be any shame in the things you love. Lauren is a ray of sunshine but she is also ready to fiercely defend the ones she loves with no hesitation. I can't wait to be princesses for a day together.
Jack Pitchford - Groomsman
Friend of groom- Jack has been a friend of mine since late elementary school. Like Jonah, he and I played basketball and soccer in middle and high school. I have always viewed Jack as “The Cool Guy” based on his charisma and confidence, but he has all the soft qualities of “The Sensitive Guy.” Jack is always so genuine and passionate about everything he does, and it is truly remarkable to see him work. I am excited to continue growing our relationship. I am honored to have Jack stand by my side.
Kaitlyn Weber - Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride- Kaitlyn's friendship is one that snuck up on me and I'm so glad it did. From music, to books, to emotions, we understand each other. From the start I felt a sense of ease around Kaitlyn. I love that even if we're not talking everyday there's still the occasional 1D video sent that never fails to make me giggle. She's a friend that I can sit quietly with and not feel pressured to make small talk. A genuine listener with a deep sense of care for her loved ones, Kaitlyn is someone I know I can rely on. I'm excited to have her stand beside me!
Alex Weber - Groomsman
Friend of groom- I met Alex in college, after knowing him online as 'Beet'. Through getting to know Alex, I have built a relationship based on genuine care and shared interests. Although Alex and I can't always see each other, it's very special to me when we do. Alex is someone who would be rooting for you to succeed and live a very fulfilling and happy life no matter what. I was lucky enough to celebrate his wedding, which was one of my favorite nights. I am excited to continue helping each other navigate this confusing thing we call life. I am honored to have Alex stand by my side.
Sarah Frazier - Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride- Sarah is one of the truest friends a girl could have. I remember being nervous to meet Sarah. Right off the bat she was so kind and inclusive. As we got to know each other more, I started to view her as a big sister figure. She makes me feel confident and I'm filled with admiration for her. From spontaneously going to see Harry Styles, to our Texas Roadhouse dates and midnight hockey, Sarah is a friend that I know will be down for an adventure. With her contagious smile and even more contagious laugh, I'm so lucky to have her be a part of this day.
Greg Whitfield - Groomsman
Friend of groom- Greg has been a friend of mine since middle school, and I can confidently call Greg a once-in-a-lifetime friend, not only because of our relationship but just how unique Greg is. Need someone to talk to because something stupid just happened? Call Greg. Need a night to chill out? Greg’s got it covered. He is someone I feel I can go to with anything, and he will participate no matter what. Greg and I regularly hang out, and I hope we can continue to experience new adventures together. I am honored to have Greg stand by my side.
Chris Barker - Bridesman
Friend of the bride- From the minute we were assigned seats next to each other in Spanish class in middle school, Chris and I were friends. Growing up with Chris has been one of my favorite things to do. I love seeing how far we've come. Chris is a pure ball of energy and sunshine. He never fails to make me laugh. Every time we hang out, it's like a break from reality. I know that I can talk to him about anything and he'll truly listen. Chris brings such a joyful vibe into every room he enters. I love that he'll get to be such a big part of my day.
Luqman Alsaba - Groomsman
Friend of groom- Luq has been a friend of mine since the 3rd grade. Luq and I have been longtime soccer teammates, video game companions, roommates, and so much more. Luq and I have always had similar interests and keep each other company when venturing into old or new hobbies. You would never guess someone who seems so quiet has one of the loudest spirits. I am glad that we have been good friends for such a long time. I am honored to have him stand by my side.
