The closest major airport to the wedding venue is Florence. You can also travel to Florence from Rome via a 90 minute train ride. (travel tip: it is typically much cheaper to book round trip flights when travelling to/from Europe)

The wedding venue is about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Florence or a 3 hour drive from Rome.

We will be arranging optional transportation between Florence & Tuscany the Friday & Tuesday of wedding weekend however the location of the wedding venue and near by villas are in remote Tuscany and the bride and groom recommend renting a car if you wish to do any additional sight seeing or activities on your own. Additional transportation will only be provided on Saturday and Sunday during the official wedding events.

Rental Car Tips

Most European rental cars will default to a stick shift vehicle so if you need an automatic vehicle make sure to specify when booking.

To clear up some rumors circulating.....in Italy, you do in fact drive on the right of the road just like the United States.
