We are aware that there is a 3.5 hour gap between the Ceremony and the Reception on our wedding day.
Therefore we encourage everyone to stay occupied during this gap! There are plenty of things to do in the big city. Some suggestions we have are as follows:
Midwest Coast Brewing Company
There is a craft brewery within a 5 minute walk of our reception venue City View Loft! This would be a great place to meet and greet other guests that are also waiting.
Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel
Please consider reserving a room as part of our room block! Hotel amenities includes an indoor pool for late-December dips!
Wendella Tours & Cruises
Chicago is famous for their river and lake architectural boat tours! This is within walking distance of our hotel block and boat tours are usually an hour long. This would be a nice slow-paced event for guests interested in lounging on the water!
Chicago River Walk
Directly across the street from our room block hotel is the magnificent Chicago River (yes, its also cleaner now too)! Consider retracing the steps that Kelly and Ron took as they snapped engagement photos as seen on the save-the-date cards that all guests received!
