Attire?
Please come in what you feel the most comfortable in! We are encouraging semi-formal or garden party attire for the wedding day. Because we are having our wedding at a ranch, western wear is also encouraged :)
What is the elevation of Sylvan Dale Ranch?
SDR sits right around 5,300 feet, right on par with Denver!
Please make sure you are hydrated and drinking your electrolytes before the weekend begins! Remember that one alcoholic drink at sea level is comparable to two to three drinks at higher elevation. Please have fun responsibly!
Is there cell service at SDR?
There is very limited cell reception at the venue. There is wifi that you can connect to in the Heritage Lodge but it does not have a far range.
Please plan to disconnect for the weekend and enjoy the celebration!
How do we get to the venue if we are not staying onsite?
You are welcome to drive to the venue and park in the guest lot! Cars can also be left overnight if needed. However, be aware that there is limited service at the venue so uber/ lyft will not be an option to get back.
Please plan ahead if you choose to drink alcohol.
We are working on getting a shuttle to and from the venue for the wedding night!
How Will the shuttle work?
A shuttle service will be available from the La Quinta Loveland/ Estes Park to Sylvan Dale Ranch and back later in the night.
The Shuttle will be running to take guests to the venue from 3:30pm - 4:30pm. Please meet the shuttle in the lobby of the Hotel. Guests not staying in the hotel can also use the shuttle. Cars can be left in the hotel parking lot overnight.
The Shuttle will be running one trip per hour, on the hour from 9pm to 12am to bring guests back to the hotel after the wedding. Please go to the front of the heritage lodge to meet the shuttle before the top of the hour.
Ride shares can then be called from the hotel to your accommodation if you are not staying at the Hotel.
What about kids?
To allow all our guests a night of relaxation, we've have chosen to make the wedding a child-free event.
If you plan to bring your little ones on your trip to Colorado, please find child- care for the night of the wedding.
