All wedding related events including rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception & after party are 21+. However, the hotel offers many family fun activities and amenities to enjoy. You are more than welcome to bring your kids along to stay onsite with proper accommodations and care if you plan to make it a weekend away for the whole family!

Yes! Minerals Hotel is 1 of 2 hotels on campus, in addition to the Lodge. Crystal Springs also offers plenty of amenities like 6 golf courses, 2 spas, restaurants and more. Please head to the Things To Do tab for more information.

Minerals Hotel, where both the ceremony and reception are hosted, has a designated parking lot adjacent to the hotel. When pulling up to the hotel, turn left into the lots before reaching the community gate.

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. Sunglasses are suggested, however, the space is tree lined and does provide shade. The reception will be open air, under a large pavilion.

The dress code is semi-formal. Please no shorts or jeans. Keep in mind you'll be outside for majority of the events. Ladies, there is a pathway connecting the ceremony/cocktail hour space and the reception space so you will not need to walk over grass. However, please note, the ceremony/cocktail hour space is cobble stoned.

We will be doing an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you silence your phones and keep them in your pockets and purses so our wonderful photographer and videographer can have no obstacles to capture our special day.

Minerals Hotel, located at Crystal Springs where our ceremony & reception are held, has reserved blocks on both Friday & Saturday nights for guests. I am able to add 5 more rooms at a time, based on hotel availability, once the original hotel rooms in the blocks are all taken. If in the event you are trying to book a room for either or both nights by using the link found on the Accommodations page, and it tells you no rooms are available, please call Central Reservations at 866-921-0422 ext. 2. and mention the Schmidt-Hank wedding and they will be able to add you directly to the block. From the girl with a severe tree nut allergy, of course! Our wedding will be nut free but if you would like to note any allergies your party may have, you can do so when RSVPing online or contacting me directly.
