Reno is the closest airport and is a 45-60 minute drive to the lake, depending on where your hotel is located. It's a small, stress-free airport and the best option if you have to get in and get out quickly!

We highly recommend you book a rental car if you are flying in. North Lake Tahoe is a very small town and does not have many Lyft/Uber/Taxi options. Also getting from the Reno airport to Lake Tahoe is a 45-60 minute drive. There are some public transportation options listed below as well.

The TART Bus (Tahoe Area Regional Transit) runs regularly around the lake. You can find the schedules and how to ride info at the website.

TART Connect offers on-demand rides through their app. They only run until 10pm though. The website has more details and a link to download the app.
