One day in mid-September of 2021 Kelly and Kyle matched on the Bumble dating app. Kelly messaged Kyle and then subsequently put off seeing him until Monday October 18th, 2021.

That afternoon they met halfway between their houses in Williams Bay and Mount Pleasant... leading them to 1175 Sports Park & Eatery for lunch. That day Kyle "laid it all out there". Told Kelly who he was, what his story was, and some of his plans and goals in life. He didn't want to waste his time or hers. They ended the date and went on their own ways. They texted the rest of the night and by the end had plans for a second date that Friday. The second date ended up being a triple threat- Corn maze, wandering around Bass Pro Shops, and Pizza. After that date Kelly was starting to think she was onto something, and Kyle was thinking about how it was the middle of deer hunting season.

That fall they spent quite a bit of time getting to know each other and spending time together. Kyle did his best to keep in communication and Kelly had no idea what dating a hunter in the fall meant until she started getting phone calls from a very excited Kyle in a tree stand after he would shoot a deer. They celebrated Kyle's birthday in November, decorated Kyles house full of Christmas lights, and slowly started to meet one another's family. In February Kyle told Kelly he loved her (with a quick reply from Kelly) and BOOM they were off to the races.

In the spring of 2022 Kyle and Kelly moved in together following the loss of Kelly's grandmother. A great trial run and proved to be quite the success if they do say so themselves. Early summer Kyle got to find out how good of a hook-set Kelly has while fishing. Late summer into fall was spent job hunting, house hunting, and deer hunting.

Kyle always said he would ask Kelly to marry him if she shot a deer. Thinking that would buy him some time Kyle smirked to himself. Kelly and Kyle went out hunting one weekend early October and wouldn't you know Kelly shot her first deer, an 8 point buck, the last night there.

On Thanksgiving of 2022 Kyle made good on his deal and asked Kelly to marry him and OBVIOUSLY she said yes!

So here we are folks... living in central Wisconsin and enjoying every second of being each others best friend. We are so looking forward to being married and we can't wait to share our love and our day with you all!!!
