Can I leave my car at the venue over night?
Yes! Our lovely venue wants to make sure everyone is safe so if you drink too much and drove to the venue, you are allowed to leave your car in the lot. Just please pick it up the next day before 10am.
What should I wear to the wedding?
Arrive in formal attire. And please, no white.
Can I bring my kids?
While we love spending time with everyone's kids, this is a child-free wedding, with the exception of the groom's immediate family.
Will there be transportation from the hotel to the venue and back?
Yes, we will have a coach bus available, picking up at the Country Inn and Suites. Hotels are located right across the street from each other. The bus will also be available for transportation back to the hotels throughout the night.
Do I need transportation from the wedding ceremony to the reception?
No. The ceremony and reception are located at the same venue.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
For those traveling from out of state, October in Illinois can be chilly. We recommend bring a jacket.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! But please let the bride and groom know ASAP by RSVPing "no" so they can plan accordingly.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony starts at 4:30pm. We recommend arriving by 4pm.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
There is a parking lot directly outside the venue and it is free.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and abide by the venue's max guest count. We will only accommodate those listed on your invitation.
What is the coach bus schedule?
The coach bus will arrive at the Country Inn and Suites around 3:15pm and will leave for the venue around 3:40pm. It will take trips back to the hotel from the venue at 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm.
