Q + A

Are children allowed at the wedding?

While we love your kiddos, our wedding is going to be an adults-only occasion due to venue availability and location. We hope you take this as a chance to make arrangements ahead of time, come let your hair down, and have a fun night out with us!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Due to limited space in the venue, we are only able to accommodate the guests who are formally invited. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP online or addressed on your invitation envelope. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend our celebration unaccompanied as we would love to keep this celebration as an intimate event with our closest friends and family.

What is the dress code like?

While we want you to be as comfortable as possible, we would prefer that you dress in the wedding style of "cocktail attire". Take this as an opportunity to go all out and get dolled up! Cocktail attire: "For an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress." - Brides.com

We are going to have a Second Line. What is a second line?

"As it is a celebration, second-lines are a popular tradition among New Orleans weddings. It signifies the beginning of a new life together. Usually, the second line brings the wedding guests and bridal party from the ceremony to the reception. The newlyweds lead the procession, umbrellas in hand, while the wedding party and guests follow the band with handkerchiefs." https://www.neworleans.com/things-to-do/music/history-and-traditions/second-lines/

Is there hotel parking?

Since the venue is a historic site, there is not hotel parking available. There is street parking around the hotel, but we highly suggest that if you are staying in New Orleans to use Uber or Lyft to get to and from the venue.
