Will there be transportation to the venue ?
Yes! Buses will depart the hotel (Four Points Sheraton, Eastham) at 3:15pm and shuttle guests to the venue. You are able to drive to the venue yourself however, please let us know if you plan on doing so; we just need to let the venue know how many spots to save in the lot! Additionally, please note that you are NOT permitted to leave your vehicle overnight so plan accordingly.
How do I get home?
For those who wish to leave early, there will be a bus departing the Chequessett Club at 9:00pm bringing guests back to the Four Points Sheraton in Eastham. For those who want to stay later, the next round of buses will be leaving the Chequessett Club at 10:00pm, bringing guests back to the Sheraton . As mentioned above, if you drove yourself to the venue, please ensure that you do not leave your car in the Chequessett parking lot overnight. Please be responsible and drive home safe!
What is the dress code ?
Beach cocktail... but remember, it is October! So no swim trunks ;) This is a wedding after all so take the opportunity to look your best however, if you don't want to wear a tie, NBD! No sparkly dress? No problem!
What about shoes ?
Great question, glad you asked. The ceremony will be on the beach (weather and tides permitting!) so keep that in mind. Wear what is comfortable with soles that won't sink into the sand. There is also a slight "hill" to get to the bathroom so high heels probably aren't your best choice. Sandals, flats, flipflops, dress shoes, boat shoes... you get the idea.

That's right, we did! HOWEVER, it's more of a slope so do not fret. Even better news: the lovely staff at Chequessett will cart you up the mound to the bathroom if you prefer. Besides, who doesn't love a golf cart ride?!
Who can accompany me to the party?
If your invitation includes a guest, you are welcome to bring your partner or significant other. On the same topic, this is a party for adults only (unless otherwise noted). We are happy to hang with your kids another time.
Will there be an open bar?
You betcha! Drinks will be available from the bar(s) immediately following the ceremony. That said, you are more than welcome to purchase a drink before the ceremony at the clubhouse if you arrive early.
What happens when the reception is over but I'm not ready for bed?
Guests are invited back to the Sheraton Hotel after the reception for some late night snacks and drinks. However, this round of drinks is on you (or whoever forgets to close their tab).
