Where is the wedding taking place
At the Kammerer residence:
11074 256th St
Chisago City, MN 55013
What time should we plan to arrive?
For those invited to the private ceremony, please plan to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45pm. It's a short walk from where you'll park to the ceremony location and we want to leave plenty of time for you to be seated before the ceremony starts at 4pm.
For those invited to the After Party, please feel free to arrive anytime after 7:00pm.
Where should we park?
Thanks to kind neighbors, Patti and Darren Pawlitschek, there will be an open grass area available for parking, please follow the signs when approaching the venue.
Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?
Weather permitting the ceremony will be held outdoors on a grass lawn. The reception and after party will take place in a pole barn hybrid indoor-outdoor space.
What is the attire?
The attire is semi-formal. The ceremony will be taking place on lawn, so please be mindful of your footwear choices. With it being early October in MN, please be aware of the weather and dress accordingly. You may also want to consider bringing additional layers as the evening can become chilly.
What is the closest airport?
Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP) - The drive time from MSP to the venue is about 45 minutes. Please keep in mind, if you're planning to travel in on Friday, you may hit rush hour traffic, as well as individuals heading north for the weekend.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony, we ask that you please turn off any cell phones, cameras and devices as we invite you to be fully present to enjoy the special moment with us. We welcome and encourage everyone to take photos during the dinner and after party - we'll be using a shared app to collect all the memories we capture together!
Are children welcome?
We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate children beyond those in the wedding party.
Why October 4th?
When Travis and Kelsey are making plans and they need the other to confirm, they say 10-4. So, when they were looking at the available Friday/Saturday dates and saw October 4, it just had to be! We know a Friday isn't ideal for everyone, but we hope you'll come and celebrate with us if you're able, even for a little while! Can't wait to see you there!
What is your wedding hashtag?
#TheRealTravisKelsey - From the very beginning of our relationship we would introduce ourselves "Hey, I'm Travis. Hi, I'm Kelsey" and people would respond "Oh like Travis Kelce!" So it seems only fitting to have that as our hashtag. Special shout out to Tressie and Charlie Hill for the idea!
What time will the evening end?
Last call will be at 11pm
What date should I RSVP by?
We ask that you kindly RSVP by August 15, 2024 to give us sufficient time to finalize details with our vendors. If you're reading this after August 15, no fret, you're still welcome to join us for the After Party starting at 7PM!
