Our love story began in 2021, but our friendship took root in 2017 during our tenures at UPS. We spearheaded many professional projects together, kindling a friendship that always picked up right where it left off. Sparks flew in 2021, and soon we'll be Mr. and Mrs. Carter!


Our relationship truly blossomed over our mutual love for music. During our first year together, we spent many nights at live shows seeing some of our favorite artists (some more than once) like Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, and Kenny Chesney. When music is playing, you'll find us singing or dancing.


Ricky got us tickets to see Morgan Wallen for the first time in December 2021 and asked me to be his problem while MW performed Somebody's Problem. That's how we became official, and I surely am his problem.


We also have a great love for being outdoors together. We enjoy camping and riding ATVs and when we aren't doing that, we're surrounded by friends and family with a Miller Lite and margarita in hand, or chilling at home with our boys, Ozzie and Rex.


Over time, I've found that Ricky is oddly good at finding four-leaf clovers. He picks them for me, and because I'm a hoarder of all things sentimental, I have a jar full. You could say we're lucky to have each other.


In September 2023, we went to Vegas with a group of friends to celebrate a few birthdays including Ricky's. This trip won Vegas as our favorite spot and wedding destination (even without a ring yet).


Ricky popped the question on February 9, 2024, in Gatlinburg, TN, the same city his parents got married in, in 1989.


We're stoked to become one with our closest friends and family in our favorite place!
