The bride & groom visited Crafted Dough while up in Murphy to meet with wedding vendors and loved it! Crafted Dough has fun and creative donuts that have the perfect donut texture with just the right amount of sweetness! They also have a selection of coffees if you want to make breakfast plans out of it (it’s only about 5 minutes from the hotel blocks and about 10 from the wedding venue). Kelsie & Noah recommend you check them out while you’re in town! ;)

If you’re looking for a total experience, The Crown may be the restaurant for you! It’s a quaint, picturesque eatery tucked away in the little valley of Brasstown (neighboring Murphy, only 8 minutes from the wedding venue & about 15 from the hotel blocks)! In addition to its gorgeous backdrop of mountains and open skies, there are farm animals and gardens surrounding the establishment. And everything that The Crown serves is from farm to table—fresh and local! They are a little on the pricier side, but the whole experience may be worth it for you!

If you’re looking for a more casual, less pricier option, another great restaurant option is Nocturnal Brewing! Don’t let their name fool you, though. They’re much more than a bar, having an indoor section, a screened in porch section, and a completely outdoor section with a diverse and creative menu including options like vegetarian cauliflower “wings,” ethnic tacos, and hearty burgers! As they boast on their website, “Nocturnal Brewing Co. offers a fresh take on casual classics with a stunning view of the North Carolina mountains.” And being in another neighboring town of Murphy (Hayesville), it’s only about 20 minutes from the wedding venue & hotel blocks!

Lastly, the bride & groom recommend exploring the scenery whether that be going on the Murphy River Walk, looking outside your hotel window, or taking an impromptu, exploratory drive!
