Is there a dresscode?
Our wedding will be a black tie or formal wear occasion. Women are requested to wear a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, pantsuit or dressy separates. Men are requested to wear a tuxedo or dark suit with a tie and dress shoes.
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony will be taking place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in BG, KY. The reception will be held at The Charleston in BG, KY. The reception venue is less than one mile from the church.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures at the church. If attending the reception, please head over to The Charleston for cocktail hour. The bride and groom will greet you at the reception.
Where should I park at the wedding?
Parking is available in the gravel lot directly across the street from the church. Street parking is also available around the church.
Where should I park at the reception?
The Charleston is located downtown BG, right off "the square". Parking is permitted on the street or there is a large lot at the back of the venue that can be accessed off Center St.
Can I bring my child/children?
As much as we love your little one, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. Only children of immediate family will be attending.
Can I bring a guest?
Guests are permitted by invite only. When you search your name to RSVP you will see your invited party.
How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP through our wedding website and search your name under the "RSVP" tab.
Where can I stay?
We have arranged a hotel block approximately 0.5 miles from The Charleston reception venue. Please refer to the "travel" tab on our website for hotel specifics and booking. The hotel will be offered at a discounted rate if booked under the provided link in the travel tab.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social wedding?
Yes! We would love to see your pictures from our big day. Our requests are please tag #McCartyPartyof2 so we can keep track of the photos. Also, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and where our photographer is present so she can properly capture our big day. Thank you for your understanding!
