In December 2020, Chris and Kendra matched on Tinder. After getting each other’s numbers, they talked almost every day for a month.

All of their first dates had to be on FaceTime because Chris was working in a hospital and Kendra was living with her family while she finished college online.

After they both got vaccinated, they decided to go on their first in-person date on January 31, 2021 at US Pizza in Conway. They became inseparable. Kendra says that Chris had “weekend custody” of her.

In December of 2021, they moved into their home together with their two cats, Gwenevere and Galadriel. They eventually had their dog, Zebco, join them.

Two weeks before their second anniversary, Chris popped the question in their living room after a dinner date.

It was perfect.
