Erik wanted me to "fluff up" our story, but this is the reality of how it happened:

We were at a college party in 2019 at Erik's house that he was renting at the time with a few of his buddies. That night we were playing beer darts in the driveway, and a party guest threw a beer dart at Erik's foot. It landed in the hole in Erik's croc! (the only shoes Erik ever wears...) I was very concerned about his toe and that near death experience struck up our first conversation.

A few days later, Erik slid into my Instagram DMs and asked for my snapchat. We started talking on a daily basis and the rest is history!

I moved up to Alexandria in 2020 when Erik's parents bought a cabin on Lake Ida. They were gracious enough to let us live there for a few years while we were settling in and looking for our first home together.

A year later we got our first dog - Scarlett, a Miniature Golden Doodle. She is the love of our lives and we don't know where we would be without her!

Erik proposed October 16th of 2022 at Carlos Creek Winery. He surprised me with a dinner with our family and future bridal party that evening. I was so grateful for the incredible celebration!

In November of 2022, we bought our first house in Carlos MN, which is right outside of Alexandria. (Erik planned the proposal date months before we were looking at houses. It all just happened to land at the same time!) It was a very exciting and crazy couple weeks!

Our second dog joined our family in March of 2024. Amber, an English Mastiff has melted our hearts! Scarlett and Amber are now inseparable best friends!

Currently, we are working on projects at our new home and counting down the days until we say I Do! We can't wait to celebrate with you.
