IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

We would love to see our family and friends dress their best. If this means a formal gown, your nicest pair of denim, or a blouse, we hope you feel ready to celebrate in what makes you feel comfortable.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

We love all of your little ones! However, due to many factors including limited space, we respectfully ask you only bring children that are included on your invitation.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Due to limited space at Gathered Oaks, we can only accommodate our close family and friends. All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your date's name is listed on the invitation we would love to see them there!

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION TO THE WEDDING?

Yes, a shuttle will be available to transport guests to and from Arrowwood Resort and Gathered Oaks. Guests that want to use this service will need to drive themselves to and from the ceremony, then park their cars back at the resort after the ceremony. They will then be picked up for transportation to Gathered Oaks.

ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION AT THE SAME LOCATION?

The Ceremony will be at The Church of St. Mary's in Alexandria and the reception is at Gathered Oaks!

WILL THERE BE DRINKS SERVED?

Yes! We will provide a variety of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options for guests. Coffee will be served following dinner.

IS THERE PARKING ON SITE?

Yes! Guests driving to the wedding will park on site at Gathered Oaks. A shuttle is available to transport you to the wedding from the hotel as well as back to the hotel at the end of the night.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?


The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM at the church. There will be a cocktail hour after the ceremony at Gathered Oaks beginning at 3:30PM. This will be a great time to get settled in, mingle, sign the guest book, explore the yard, and find your seat!

IS THERE A HOTEL BLOCK?

Arrowwood Resort does not offer wedding block rooms. If you wish to utilize the shuttle services provided we recommend you book your room at the Arrowwood early!
