Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation specifies a guest invite, they will show up when you RSVP on the site. Due to limited space, we unfortunately will not be able to accomodate additional guests not included in your invitation.

Is this a kid-friendly wedding?

Supervised children listed on your invitation and RSVP form are welcome! However, we have limited the number of invited children as the venue is not suitable for a large number of kids.

Will there be alcohol?

We believe the group we've invited is the life of the party! We look forward to enjoying the evening alcohol-free.

I'm from out of state, how do I get to this venue?

Great question! Our venue is about 2 hours from our home-base of Dallas-Fort Worth. We suggest you fly into DFW or Lovefield if you're taking a plane and then drive to Palestine, TX.

Can I RSVP online?

Yes! Our RSVP link is included in every invitation. There is a section on this wedding website labeled "RSVP." This is the only formal way to RSVP. Please do so by Februrary 17th.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The plan is to have the ceremony outdoors with the reception indoors for dinner and then outdoors for dancing! The weather is usually beautiful in April, in East Texas. But it's still Texas, so you might want to plan for sudden weather changes.

Do you have reserved room blocks at any specific hotel?

We do not. There are many different options for lodging in the area. Athens or Palestine would be the best options as far as cities to look for a place to stay!

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

We will have refreshments and light snacks available between the ceremony and the reception. The reception will inlclude a buffet style dinner with a choice of cajun shrimp pasta and chicken francese as well as salad and sides.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at 5 pm to be seated prior to the ceremony.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We will have professionals handling photo and video for our wedding. Please refrain from taking your phone or camera out during the ceremony and enjoy the moment. You are welcome to snap pictures during the reception!

Will you be live streaming the wedding?

While we will not be live-streaming the wedding, we will have a professional recap video after the event that we can share with family and friends who aren't able to attend.
