Our Wedding

Andrew&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;like&nbsp;to&nbsp;say&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;met&nbsp;at&nbsp;a&nbsp;wedding,&nbsp;but&nbsp;the&nbsp;truth&nbsp;is&nbsp;I&nbsp;really&nbsp;just&nbsp;spotted&nbsp;him&nbsp;at&nbsp;said&nbsp;wedding.&nbsp;After&nbsp;the&nbsp;wedding,&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;texting&nbsp;the&nbsp;bride&nbsp;like&nbsp;crazy&nbsp;-&nbsp;things&nbsp;like&nbsp;"who&nbsp;is&nbsp;he,"&nbsp;"what's&nbsp;his&nbsp;info,"&nbsp;"I&nbsp;have&nbsp;to&nbsp;know&nbsp;him."&nbsp;Eventually,&nbsp;she&nbsp;gave&nbsp;me&nbsp;his&nbsp;info,&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;realized&nbsp;that&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;friended&nbsp;him&nbsp;years&nbsp;ago&nbsp;because&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;tagged&nbsp;in&nbsp;her&nbsp;post,&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;thought&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;cute.&nbsp;When&nbsp;we&nbsp;finally&nbsp;got&nbsp;to&nbsp;talking&nbsp;to&nbsp;each&nbsp;other,&nbsp;it&nbsp;took&nbsp;about&nbsp;a&nbsp;week&nbsp;for&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;to&nbsp;ask&nbsp;me,&nbsp;"What&nbsp;are&nbsp;you&nbsp;doing&nbsp;tomorrow?"&nbsp;To&nbsp;which&nbsp;I&nbsp;replied."You're&nbsp;not&nbsp;gonna&nbsp;believe&nbsp;this,&nbsp;but&nbsp;it's&nbsp;my&nbsp;birthday,&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;actually&nbsp;have&nbsp;no&nbsp;plans."&nbsp;Here's&nbsp;the&nbsp;sentence&nbsp;I&nbsp;still&nbsp;get&nbsp;giddy&nbsp;over&nbsp;because&nbsp;it's&nbsp;so&nbsp;out&nbsp;of&nbsp;character&nbsp;for&nbsp;him,&nbsp;but&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;text&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;sent&nbsp;said&nbsp;"Well,&nbsp;if&nbsp;you&nbsp;want&nbsp;me&nbsp;to,&nbsp;I'll&nbsp;take&nbsp;you&nbsp;out&nbsp;to&nbsp;dinner."&nbsp;After&nbsp;that,&nbsp;we&nbsp;worked&nbsp;out&nbsp;the&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;of&nbsp;him&nbsp;picking&nbsp;me&nbsp;up&nbsp;at&nbsp;my&nbsp;house,&nbsp;which&nbsp;I&nbsp;made&nbsp;him&nbsp;guess&nbsp;the&nbsp;address&nbsp;of,&nbsp;and&nbsp;laughed&nbsp;about&nbsp;how&nbsp;determined&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;to&nbsp;figure&nbsp;it&nbsp;out.&nbsp;&nbsp;After&nbsp;that&nbsp;first&nbsp;date,&nbsp;it's&nbsp;all&nbsp;been&nbsp;uphill&nbsp;from&nbsp;there.&nbsp;Every&nbsp;day,&nbsp;I&nbsp;thank&nbsp;God&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;man&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;sent&nbsp;my&nbsp;way.&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;is&nbsp;absolutely&nbsp;everything&nbsp;that&nbsp;I&nbsp;have&nbsp;ever&nbsp;prayed&nbsp;for&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;man,&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;love&nbsp;anyone&nbsp;more.&nbsp;He&nbsp;is&nbsp;my&nbsp;person&nbsp;and&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;so&nbsp;blessed&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;to&nbsp;spend&nbsp;forever&nbsp;with&nbsp;him!

How Did We Meet

We&nbsp;got&nbsp;engaged&nbsp;on&nbsp;May&nbsp;12,&nbsp;2023.&nbsp; Andrew&nbsp;bought&nbsp;the&nbsp;ring&nbsp;in&nbsp;February,&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;completely&nbsp;oblivious.&nbsp;After&nbsp;several&nbsp;months&nbsp;of&nbsp;trying&nbsp;to&nbsp;find&nbsp;the&nbsp;perfect&nbsp;place&nbsp;and&nbsp;date,&nbsp;he&nbsp;settled&nbsp;on&nbsp;May&nbsp;12.&nbsp;On&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;of,&nbsp;it&nbsp;poured,&nbsp;which&nbsp;meant&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;find&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;location.&nbsp;After&nbsp;three&nbsp;location&nbsp;changes,&nbsp;he&nbsp;finally&nbsp;settled&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;gazebo&nbsp;in&nbsp;downtown&nbsp;Hartselle.&nbsp;Everything&nbsp;else&nbsp;fell&nbsp;into&nbsp;place&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;wouldn't&nbsp;change&nbsp;a&nbsp;thing!!

We are so thankful to have you all come celebrate with us.&#160; We know that you will all be coming from different places, but the best way we can direct you, in order to avoid poor, gravel roads, is to start from downtown Moulton.
 
Turning onto Market Street from Hwy 24, go to the end of Hwy 33. From there, take a right at the red light, go to the next red light, and take a right Hwy 195 N.&#160; About 2 miles down the road, on the right, is The Barn at Shady Grove. There should be signs!
