HOW DO I RSVP?

Kindly RSVP by no later than July 1, 2025. You can respond on our website by entering your name in the designated RSVP field. If you do not confirm your attendance by this date, unfortunately you will not be included in the seating chart.

WHERE IS THE VENUE?

Mel Gibson Ranch is located at 99 Lindsay's Hill Rd, Trout Creek, ON P0H 2L0. The venue is situated about 30 minutes south of North Bay. If you're traveling from the north, you’ll pass both Trout Creek/Port Loring exits. The next turnoff is Lindsay’s Hill Road on your right. Turn right onto Lindsay’s Hill Road. Shortly after, you'll reach a T-intersection—turn right here and head up a steep hill. At the top, keep to the left. Mel Gibson Ranch is the first laneway on the left, marked #99.

WHAT TIME DOES THE CEREMONY START?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive close to 3:00 PM to allow ample time for parking and seating, helping us ensure a smooth start to the day.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?

We have opted for an 'unplugged ceremony' to foster a more intimate and focused atmosphere, allowing everyone to be fully present in the moment. This is a significant part of our day, as it reduces distractions and encourages everyone—both ourselves and our guests—to engage deeply in the vows and the experience. We kindly ask that you turn off all devices, including cell phones and cameras, allowing you to immerse yourself in this special moment with us. By refraining from taking photos, you also enable our photographer to capture more genuine and impactful images. We will be excited to share the professional photos from the ceremony with you afterward. Your presence and full attention are incredibly meaningful to us. We invite our guests to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception to capture the fun and excitement of the evening. We look forward to seeing the memories you capture and would love for you to share them with us!

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

As we plan for an intimate gathering, we kindly request that this invitation is extended only to the individual named. Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate additional plus ones.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

While we love your little ones, due to limited space at the venue, we kindly ask that only children and babies specifically named on the invitation be in attendance. We truly appreciate you making prior arrangements to celebrate with us on our special day and hope this offers parents a chance to enjoy a well deserved night out.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

Dress to impress! We gently request guests wear formal attire—neutral tones are encouraged. Think cocktail dresses, collared shirts, dress pants, and ties. We politely ask guests to refrain from wearing colours traditionally reserved for the bride such as whites, ivories and creams. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting. An intimate reception will follow inside the barn. Kindly note the venue is not equipped with air conditioning, please dress accordingly.

WHAT ARE THE DETAILS OF THE MENU ITEMS?

We are pleased to welcome you to a thoughtfully curated BBQ-style buffet, catered by Average Joe’s Catering. Guests will enjoy a selection of savory favorites, including cheddar biscuits, classic Caesar salad, smoked brisket, grilled BBQ chicken breast, herb-roasted mini potatoes, smoked macaroni and cheese, and skewered grilled vegetables. Kindly inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies when submitting your RSVP. We invite you to relax, dine, and celebrate with us.

WILL THERE BE A BAR?

A cash bar will be available for your enjoyment. Please note that the venue does not accept debit or credit card payments, and there is no ATM on site. We recommend ensuring you bring sufficient cash. Cocktail hour will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. During dinner, enjoy red and white wine on us, courtesy of the bride and groom. Once the meal concludes, the bar will reopen to keep the celebration going. A variety of mixed drinks, beers, and wines will be served, along with custom signature his & hers cocktails as a cheeky nod to the bride and groom. We kindly ask that you be sure to tip our wonderful bartenders—they’re here to make the night even more memorable!

Yes—there is a designated smoking area on site.
