WHERE IS THE VENUE LOCATED?

The Grosse Pointe War Memorial is located at 32 Lake Shore Dr, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?

Transportation to and from the venue will be provided to guests utilizing the room block at the local hotel and pick guests up at 4pm to take them to the venue.

CAN WE BRING OUR CHILDREN?

Although we adore children, our ceremony & reception are adult only (18+), aside from immediate family.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Weddings are a very special day, and we have opted for both an intimate ceremony & reception. Only the names addressed on the invitation are formally invited to our celebration. When you RSVP online, your party's invited guests will appear as well.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "No" so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T RSVP IN TIME?

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a “No.” We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in a timely manner and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. We hope that you understand.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Yes! Black-tie optional attire is requested. Please no jeans or shorts.

Dress to impress and have fun with color! Floor length dresses, florals, etc.

ARE THERE ANY COLORS THE GUESTS SHOULD AVOID WEARING?

We kindly ask that you avoid any colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, creams, etc.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will be inside.

WHERE DO I PARK?

The War Memorial has complimentary parking on site.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

The ceremony starts at 5pm. Please be seated by 4:45pm.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we are asking that ALL phones & devices are put away on silent/turned off during the ceremony. This ensures that we will have nice photos & that everyone will be present to share this special moment with us. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like!
