It is up to you if you would like to book an Airbnb, Vrbo, Rental Property, hotel/motel, or a cabin nearby. The motels provided here are some of the closest ones, however, there are many more in Hayward. If you are opting to rent a property rather than stay at a hotel, Vrbo has many more options close by than Airbnb. HolidayHomes.com also has a compiled list of local rentals.

We have the entire motel blocked, there are nine rooms available, it is a short drive from the motel to the venue, approximately eight minutes to The Wannigan.

Winter Northern Lights Motel

There are twelve cabins and nine hotel rooms available. It is about a 20-minute drive to the venues.

Deerfoot Lodge & Resort

There are six cabins available. It is about a 25-minute drive to The Wannigan. All of the cabins together sleep a total of 30+ people.

Musky Joe's Twin Pines Resort

Travel

Both venues are right on the Chippewa River. The Wannigan has tubes for rent, (MAYBE BOATS). It is a great river to float, fish, or swim in. There is a boat landing at the end of Dam road that accesses the Chippewa Flowage.

This is a small zoo located in Hayward.

Wilderness Walk Zoo

Main street in Hayward, or downtown Hayward has a ton of little shops and restaurants. If you go make sure to stop at Tremblay's Sweet Shop.
