Man, what a ride. Who knew that going online to find a hiking buddy would come to this? From our first phone call we knew we would be great friends, but never in a million years did we realize we were making a once in a lifetime connection.

Starting all over with a new life in your middle years is tricky. We spent a global pandemic stomping around Arkansas creeks and rivers and doing the New York Times crossword over the phone. We knew it was really going somewhere when we survived a 10-day quarantine in one tiny room in Mexico without violence. We've fished, done acrobatics, danced, contracted Covid three times, walked each other through job changes and moves and more heartache, loss, victories, and celebrations than can be counted. Plenty of times we went our separate ways to learn more of the lessons that life needed to teach us, but somehow we always landed right back here, together, laughing.

Guys, we're going to keep laughing and learning and making mistakes and figuring it out. We'd love for you to join us. It's not always pretty, it's always messy, but we promise you: it will be hilarious.
