Experience the rugged beauty along the south-west coast of Victoria by setting off along one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives.

The spectacular Great Ocean Road hugs the seaside cliffs that snake along the wild and windswept Southern Ocean. The striking vistas along the iconic road evoke awe with craggy cliffs, empty beaches and soaring bluffs flanked by brilliant green countryside. Add epic surf, native wildlife, unforgettable hiking and biking trails and you will find plenty of things to see and do around every curve.

Do a day trip or perhaps a few nights down the coast. Learn to Surf, head out for a hike or enjoy the many beachside towns that line the great ocean road.

Melbourne Zoo

Elliott Ave, Parkville VIC 3052, Australia

The Melbourne Zoo is Australia's oldest Zoo. This is a must see on your hit list while visiting Melbourne. You can easily access Melbourne Zoo via Tram from the city of Melbourne. It's a full day affair and if you are travelling with Kiddos, this will sure be their best day yet!

You can arrange private tours early morning at the zoo which I HIGHLY recommend. Jiku and I did this on our last Australia trip and it was truly memorable for both. You can pack your lunches or get food while you are there! Have fun seeing the Kangaroos and Koalas as you have a true Aussie experience.

The Mornington Peninsula

Do yourself a Favour and rent a car and drive down the Mornington Peninsula!

My recommendation would be to find accommodation in Sorrento or Portsea for two nights. It's kind of like our Muskoka but by a beach!

If you'd like to sip a glass of wine and enjoy some oysters while overlooking the water or perhaps spending a day at the beach with the kids, then this is the place for you!

The Mornington Peninsula has amazing wineries, two gorgeous hot springs and gorgeous Boutique shops to browse.

Accommodation can be booked on Expedia, Airbnb, Bookings.com the list is endless if you jump on google.
