Matt and Kerry first crossed paths through mutual friends one night at Joe Mama’s, a bar in Morgantown, West Virginia. After countless texts and phone calls during COVID, they finally went on their first date once Kerry returned for the school year. What started as “just grabbing dinner” quickly turned into something much more. From cheering at WVU football games to trying new restaurants and getting lost on the trails at Coopers Rock, they’ve shared plenty of adventures along the way. At home, nights often consisted of card games and Matt quizzing Kerry on music artists (spoiler: she’s still not great at it). On February 15, 2025, Matt popped the question on the beach in St. Marco, Florida—and Kerry said yes! Now they’re thrilled to begin their next big adventure: marriage. They can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

The historical town of Plymouth is within 40 minutes' drive of the Nantasket Beach Resort. The nearby commuter ferry travels to the Logan Airport and the Boston wharf.

On the Sunday before or on June 17, a large parade is held in Charlestown, Massachusetts, to celebrate Bunker Hill Day and to commemorate the Battle of Bunker Hill. Various groups take part in the parade including: local marching bands and other musical groups; current and past military personnel; re-enactment groups, especially those connected to the Siege of Boston; sports groups; fire trucks; police motorcycles; and floats sponsored by local businesses. Many people also visit re-enactments of battles and other events from the American Revolutionary War or visit the Bunker Hill Monument or other historic sites on the Boston Freedom Trail.
