Adam and Kerstyn crossed paths a lot while involved in clubs at Cal State Long Beach, but never met until after Kerstyn graduated in the summer of 2018. Adam’s friend (and now Best Man) Percy, was dating Nika (now Maid of Honor) and was invited to Nika’s birthday party. Kerstyn also attended as a friend of Nika’s and met Adam at her party. They kicked it off right away and got each other’s numbers and went on a date the very next week for Kerstyn’s birthday. After their fun first date, they proceeded to go on dates all summer long. It didn’t take long for Kerstyn and Adam to fall deep in love and become each other’s best friend. They are inseparable! Kerstyn and Adam went to Stagecoach country music festival 8 months into dating and made some lifelong memories of serenading Luke Combs to each other and starting a line dance in the middle of the crowd to Sweet Home Alabama while Lynard Skynard sang into the night. From then on, they went on countless adventures together and with their close friends and family.

Kerstyn worked as a visual merchandiser for Nordstrom (until 2021) and sometimes would have to work weekends. This made it hard for the two of them to see each other but once a week. They worked hard at a “medium distance” relationship being 30 miles away from each other (Kerstyn in Laguna Hills and Adam in Long Beach). They made every effort to see each other whether it was in Long beach on the weekends, or Adam would come down to Laguna to take Kerstyn out to dinner or hang out with her family.

As the years went on and their bond grew even stronger, Kerstyn and Adam began to dream about their future and ways to achieve it together. They are partners, teammates and each other’s support system through all the life changes, challenges, happy times and achievements. They push each other through hard days and make sure to celebrate every success.

They are no doubt soulmates and were born to love each other. They are always dreaming about their future children, pets, and places they will travel together to and live someday. Adam and Kerstyn’s bond is unlike any other! They can’t wait for everyone to witness the beginning of their marriage and start their own family.
