I’m sure many of you have heard me over the years refer to Maryssa as “my sister”. Maybe heard me say “my cousin” to make explaining our relation to each other easier
I’ve had a lot of people ask or say “it’s funny how your parents named you Alyssa and your sister Maryssa”
But as most of you actually do know we aren’t related by blood in any way shape or form. Our dads grew up since little boys across the street from each other and thankfully stayed in each others lives. Our moms become best friends and when Maryssa was born and I met her for the first time I pet her head and “so soft” and the rest is history. From that point on it was the Alyssa & Maryssa show.
She’s been by my side ever since.
We’ve never missed a birthday. Never missed a milestone. Never missed a time we needed one another for anything big or small.
I’m so incredibly proud of her and all her accomplishments. I’m so thankful to call her my sister because in my heart she’s never been anything but
Having her be my maid of honor was the easiest decision and I’m so excited to have her next to me on my wedding day
Katie - Matron of Honor
Every one needs that friend who consistently pushes you to be better. The one who you first go to for advice. The one who you text pretty much 24/7. Who you binge watch tv series with and talk about the characters in the show as if they are real life people you know. Who you share an apartment with and buy an ungodly amount of cheese but then never eat it and have to both sit on the floor months later to clean it all out of the fridge. The one you say “dude go on a date with him!” and then you’re standing next to her on her wedding day as she married the love of her life and you can’t wait for her to be standing next to you on your big day..
Well that’s Katie for me. She’s been my constant over the past.. wow.. almost 10 years now??
She’s a friend everyone should have and everyone who does have her knows they are lucky for it
Debbie - Bridesmaid
The littlest sis. Debbie. Bubba. Or as I call her “baby”
My gosh. If there ever was someone who could keep you entertain or on your toes it was Debbie. Ever since she was little she was a whole grown sassy thing and I ate it up. I’ve loved always supporting and cheering her on with all her endeavors. She has the confidence and strive everyone should learn to carry with them. I know she’ll be the first one cheering and dancing right next to me all night long
Annie - Bridesmaid
I cant count the amount of times this girl and I have absolutely lost of minds laughing so hard we couldn’t even stand up straight.
It’s nothing but pure joy and fun whenever we are with one another.
Annie and I have become the best of friends and her being my official SIL is something I could not be more stoked about.
She’s helped me grow in so many ways. Both mentally and psychically helping me strive to be the healthiest/strongest version of myself each day. Constantly being an encouragement and cheerleader in all I do.
Can’t wait to finally call you a sister
Ally - Bridesmaid
I can guarantee you anyone you ask that has Ally in their life will tell you “she’s the best person you could ever ask for”
It takes a special person to become friends with and stay friends with by happenstance. But that is exactly what happened when I turned around one day and saw this cute girl and her friends had snuck down to my section at a concert. We all rocked out to Kenny Chesney and we’ve been rocking out ever since. Allys always the first one to offer help and the last one to be there still helping. She’s truly one of a kind and I’m so lucky I have a friend so caring and thoughtful to share this day.
Gabriel - Officiant
Baby Brudda
Gabriel has been my best friend since the day he was born. I have been and will continue to always be the luckiest sister in the world to have a brother like him.
And I can’t think of anyone better to be the one who stands in front of us on our wedding day
