San Antonio is a vibrant city brimming with culture and mouthwatering Tex-Mex cuisine. Here are some of our favorite spots that we recommend!
Mariachis, margaritas, and pan dulce! Sam and her family have been going since the 90's, but this restaurant has been around much longer. Definitely with a visit if you want a fun, Mexican-style experience.
La Panadería, which specializes in making handmade bread and pan dulce inspired by Mexico’s Golden Era, or Epoca de Oro, also draws influence from French, Italian and American breadmaking techniques. This is a great spot for lunch or brunch, and the conchas are INSANE!
A great spot to get some delicious breakfast tacos while you're in town! Kev's favorite is bacon egg and cheese, and Sam loves the juevos rancheros (with salsa verde of course).
We discovered this restaurant during the summer of 2013 when Sam was working at a summer internship at the Quarry Farmer's Market. We love their cold noodle bowls!
