As everyone who knows us, Hawaii will always hold a special place in our hearts—it’s where our story began. Savanna first met Kevin while searching for her friends (a forever shoutout to Christin and Mike), and from that moment on, they were inseparable for the rest of the week.

When Kevin returned to Georgia and Savanna continued travel nursing in Hawaii, they stayed connected, talking day and night. About a month later, Kevin surprised Savanna by flying to Dallas, Texas (we love the Lawrences!) for a wedding she was attending. That weekend marked the beginning of their relationship—one that many thought was a little crazy (and they were probably right).

Soon after, Savanna returned to Hawaii and Kevin deployed overseas. Even with a 13-hour time difference, their relationship only grew stronger. When Kevin returned, he flew straight back to Hawaii, and from there, they continued building a life together—navigating military life, travel nursing, Savanna’s schooling, and now Kevin’s law school.

Today, they call Birmingham, Alabama home, where they live with their perfect dog, Scarlett.
