Kevin and Darian met in 2019 while both out on the town with some friends. Darian and her roommates were celebrating the end of her basketball career, and Kevin was with his coworkers playing some pool. Kevin was stationed in Eureka, CA during his lineman apprenticeship and Darian was finishing up her junior year of college at Humboldt State. All night they played a game of cat and mouse; Darian would strut by Kevin's table just to see if he noticed her, while Kevin tried to play it cool. If you ask either one of them about that night they'll both describe it very differently, but one thing remains true... they were smitten from that first night. Once Kevin convinced Darian to give him her phone number the rest was a whirlwind romance. 6 months later, Darian asked Kevin to be her boyfriend!!

For the first part of their relationship they endured long distance, only seeing one another one weekend out of the month. But they made it work and a short while later they bought their first home together in Washington, bringing along their pup Delilah. The next addition to the family was their dog Peach that they adopted from Taiwan. Fast forward 3 years on their anniversary Kevin popped the question while the two shared a rooftop dinner during sunset. Kevin later disclosed that he had the ring stashed in the trunk of his car for 8 months prior to the proposal.

The two are now living in their new home in Vancouver while they pursue their careers. Darian is now a medical surgical nurse, and Kevin is a journeyman lineman. They are so overjoyed to be sharing this moment with all their friends and family, and cannot wait for May 4th, 2024!
