Our love story starts in October 2021 when Tracie begrudgingly 'liked' Kevin back on the dating app Hinge. Little did she know that with one click of a button, her life would change forever. After exchanging messages on the site, Kevin took the next step and asked for Tracie's number to set up a date. After a few days of messaging back and forth along with some radio silence from Tracie, a first date was set. Unfortunately, Tracie canceled last minute after a long stretch of work shifts and being exhausted (which was later found out to be her also having second thoughts about the date') and the date had to be rescheduled.

About a week later, a new first date was set for 11/5/21 at the Dave and Buster's in Orange County. Tracie was about to back out again, but thanks to advice and a shove from a friend, she decided to give Kevin a shot. Tracie's first impression of Kevin, 'is that a hole in his beanie? and 'did I just agree to go on a date with a homeless person?' After dinner and drinks, the night continued into the game area where Kevin proceeded to let Tracie win their little competition (Tracie begs to differ, according to her "she won all on her own and you were a whiny little baby"). All in all, the night ended with a hug and tentative plans for a second date.

A week later on 11/12/21, Kevin picked up Tracie from her place in Tustin and they proceeded to Huntington Beach for their second date. A long walk on the beach to watch the sun set was proceeded by dinner and some bowling. After getting to know each other throughout the night, Kevin asked Tracie to take their first photo together and the rest is history.
