Grant and Kevin went to the same high school (North Torrance High School) but did not get to know each other till they lived together at UCLA. Grant was a great listener when it came to hearing all of Kevin's dating stories, encouraging him that his person was out there. The only thing better than seeing Kevin marry Tracie is having him move closer to him.. By moving to Tustin, Grant and Kevin can continue their relationship and reminisce about the 'good ol days.'

Tim and Kevin go wayyyy back, 35 years back to be exact. Tim and Kevin grew up playing on the same sports teams sharing a love of basketball and baseball. Tim is like a 4th child in the Togami family and Kevin's mom even calls Tim her 3rd son. Tim is the type of friend and person that can get along with anyone. Kevin sees Tim as a second brother, someone he can always rely on whenever he needs advice or a listening ear.

Adam and Kevin met at UCLA their junior year where they shared a mutual interest in the tv show Smallville and actress Kristen Kreuk. If they weren't binge watching Smallville at their apartments, they were breaking ankles and backboards on the basketball court. Known as the Asian Penny Hardaway and Shaq, you didn't want to mess with them. Today, you can find Kevin and Adam golfing a few times a month losing their golf balls in the trees or water, Splash Bros 4 Life.

Kevin met Tae through Adam after graduating UCLA. Like Tim, Tae went to that other UC up north, Cal. Kevin was drawn to Tae not for his six pack abs or impeccable jawline but his brains (triple major in Cognitive Science with specialization in neuroscience, Economics, and Statistics at one of the top public universities in the country? are you kidding me) and big heart. Tae and Kevin hit it off from the start sharing a love of psychology and fitness. They would swap workout programs and sign up for obstacle races to push each other both mentally and physically.

Kelli and Tracie met when they were eleven years old at summer band camp. They quickly became best friends, bonding over the same interests, playing the same sports, and surviving middle, high school, and college together at Cal Poly SLO. Kelli has always been like another sister to Tracie. Her very best friend, the Joey to her Chandler, she has, and always has been there for Tracie through all the ups and downs of her life. Even though they now live hundreds of miles apart, Tracie and Kelli still remain the very best of friends and family now and forever.

Lindsay is Tracie's best and only older sister. Growing up, Tracie aspired to be just like her big sister. She was big shoes to fill in school, as Lindsay excelled in academics and pretty much everything she did, which made Tracie's competitive nature go crazy. She was not only her mentor and her inspiration for becoming a NICU nurse, but she is also her best friend, second mother, and makes the BEST cookies in the whole world!

Jaymee is Tracie's little sister, best friend, and her number one go to for advice. Jaymee's kind heart, empathetic nature, and her love and compassion for others makes her the most amazing nurse, friend, and mother. She is Tracie's inspiration, role model, and one of the people she looks up to most in her life. Jaymee has always been the first to take care of Tracie at the lowest points of her life and never once waver in her love and support to get her back on her feet.

Karleigh is Tracie's baby sister and her mini me. Tracie is constantly in awe at Karleigh's artistic talent, her creativity, and all the love she gives to her kindergarten students and to everyone around her. Some of Tracie's fondest memories with Karleigh as kids include staying in and eating junk like chili cheese fries and fried zucchini while binge watching movies. She is the type of sister and friend who will instantly match Tracie's silly/goofy and crazy side without question. Cue screaming Andrea Bocelli's 'Time to say goodebye" in the car with the windows down. :)

Reagan and Aya are Tracie's nieces and the sunshine and joy of her life. Their smiles, laughter, and sweet personalities bring so much positive energy and light into Tracie's life and everyone around them.

Meet our adorable little nephew, Kody! At just 2 months old, he brings endless joy and laughter to our family. With his bright eyes and infectious smile, Kody is sure to steal the spotlight on our special day. We can't wait for you to meet him and share in the love and happiness he brings to our lives

Wyatt and Cooper are Tracie's nephews and the funniest, happiest, and silliest little boys. Tracie is so proud to be their auntie and cherishes all the time she gets to spend with them as they are growing up. Some of her fondest memories are spending family days at Disneyland and seeing and sharing in the Disney magic through their eyes.

Tessa is Kevin's one and only niece. Even though she is a few years away from being a teenager and taller than Uncle Kevin, he still sees her as his little baby niece. Tessa changed uncle Kevin's mind on wanting to have a daughter and she can't wait for more cousins so she can babysit them.

Tanner and Tristan are Kevin's nephews and are like two peas in a pod. They love to drive uncle Kevin crazy sometimes but they are the best of friends and love to keep each other company. Kevin can still remember the days when he would babysit all 3 kids while their parents went on a date night. It was the best practice for Kevin as he was able to spoil the kids with his love and affection then return them to mom and dad once they stopped listening 😆.

Lisa is Kevin's older sister and best friend. Growing up, Kevin was Lisa's sports mascot cheering from the sidelines hoping to follow in his big sister's footsteps one day. Kevin has always looked up to Lisa as she helped mold him into the person he is today. She showed him what it means to be a good, honest, hard working person who puts others first. Kevin is forever grateful to have the best sister, role model, and friend anyone could ask for. Lisa can't wait to return the favor and help babysit Kevin and Tracie's kids.

Dennis is Tracie's brother-in-law and the father to her nieces, Reagan and Aya. He has been a part of the Nakata family for over twenty years! We love him dearly and have given him one of the most important jobs in our wedding party, to walk his beautiful flower girls down the aisle. :)
