In Rocky Mountain National Park, hiking is the number one activity. Whether you are walking around a peaceful lake trail or climbing a 14er, this park has something for you! We have compiled a short list of hikes at a variety of skill levels, so you can find the perfect trail adventure for you.

Easy: Hike Without the Incline
Lily Lake: 0.8 miles with very little grade or incline. The lake and trail are surrounded by beautiful forests of aspen and pine.
Sprague Lake: 0.5 mile path with benches for resting or just taking in the amazing views of the Continental Divide.
Copeland Falls: 0.3 mile hike with little to no incline. Enjoy gloriously cascading falls at the end.
Moderate: Short or Sweet
Gem Lake: 3.4 mile out and back, with some of most spectacular views of the Estes Valley along the way.
Fern Lake: 3.8 mile, 1275 elevation gain. Ending with spectacular views of Notchtop and Little Matterhorn.
Finch Lake: 4.5 mile, 1440 elevation gain. An excellent journey for birders and naturalists

A 8,900-foot Prospect Mountain. Soar to the summit on the historic red tram for stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and continental divide. Experience great food at the Hungry Chipmunk Cafe, explore the gift shop, picnic areas, and light hiking.
Known for being the setting of the movie The Shining, the Stanley Hotel is an iconic landmark famous for its charm and history, located in beautiful Estes Park, CO. The Stanley has many bars, restaurants, and a spa to enjoy.
Boulder is roughly a 45 minute drive from Estes and where we originally met! Walk around the University of Colorado Boulder, take the views in at Flagstaff Mountain, and then finish the day with shopping and lunch on Pearl Street!
