Steven and Kiara met in May of 2022 on Hinge, of all places. It was clear from the start how similar they were. They had their first date in Portsmouth, NH in June of 2022. From that point on, they were inseparable. They bonded over music, literature, salsa dancing, and pumpkin carving as the year went on. In February of 2023, Steven and Kiara went back to Portsmouth for a beautiful day date, reminiscent of their first meeting. They got tea at a small shop on the main street, checked out some shops, and had margaritas and tacos for lunch, and finally browsed some local art before walking back down the main street, where Steven proposed with the help of his best friends, Josh and Vanessa.
