What are some Vietnamese traditions that we can expect?
During the reception, the bride and groom will be wearing traditional Vietnamese attire known as áo dài.
We will be making our way around to each table to greet our guests personally and show our thanks to those who made the effort to celebrate with us. Each table greeting will end with a big cheer and a sip of your drink (or a shot if you're feeling feisty)!
You may also see red envelopes being gifted throughout the night, as they are a symbol of energy, happiness, and good luck. These envelopes are filled with money and given as a wish for prosperity to loved ones.
And last but certainly not least, we have a special treat in store for you: a lion dance performance! Kim's little cousins have been practicing all year for this moment, and we can't wait for you to see their hard work pay off.
We are thrilled to share our Vietnamese culture with you and can't wait to celebrate with all of our beloved guests!
How can I RSVP to ensure I don't miss out on all the fun?
Please RSVP at the top of this website. The deadline for your fabulous RSVP is March 27th, 2024. So take note, set an alarm, or better yet, hire a personal assistant to keep you on top of your party game!
What's the deal with bringing a plus one?
We love meeting new people, but not on our wedding day. If you received an invitation to bring a plus one, please don't wait until the big day to introduce them to us. Make sure to do so in person before the wedding!
How are we getting to the venue?
The venue is conveniently located between Edmond and OKC, so feel free to take an Uber, hitch a ride with a friend, or just roll up in your own wheels. There is plenty of parking at the venue.
What's the color scheme we're rockin'?
Our color palette is inspired by traditional Asian hues, like fiery reds, romantic pinks, and pure whites. But, we won't judge you if you show up in your favorite neon ensemble!
Will there be food and drinks to fuel our partying?
Absolutely! We'll have an open bar, dinner, and plenty of desserts and snacks to keep you fueled up all night long.
Can I take home a centerpiece or two?
While we can't let you run off with a whole centerpiece, we'd be happy to oblige with a photo of us or a flower from our special day. But, in the spirit of sharing the love, we ask that you pay it forward. Give the flower to someone you love, or frame the photo and hang it in your office to brighten up someone's day. And who knows, maybe that flower will be the start of a love story even more magical than ours!
What's the hotel scene like around these parts?
Please check the Travel tab at the top of the page for our recommended hotels. We've got one that's so close to the venue you could practically crawl back to your room (although, we don't recommend it), and two downtown for those of you who want to keep the party going!
