It was April of 2019, a couple of weeks shy from Kim & Bryan’s graduation when the two met at Salsa night in Lubbock, TX. The pair danced together as Bryan proceeded to ask Kim questions on the loud dance floor - “Where are you from? Do you have any Siblings?” Kim was intrigued by his genuine and sweet nature and at the end of the night she didn’t want it to end so she suggested a Whataburger run. As they got in the car, Kim made sure to ask the most important question - “Do you like dogs?” After he said yes, Kim proceeded to whip out her phone and show him a picture of her pup, Evie. To which Bryan replied - “Such a cutie, almost as much as her mom.” Anyone who knows how much Kim loves her dog, knows she was swooning pretty hard after that. A week later, Bryan reached out to invite Kim to dinner. Kim called her mom to ask her thoughts on the date. Although she really enjoyed Bryan’s company, they were just a couple of weeks away from graduation and she didn’t know if they really had enough time to get to know each other before they were set to move to Dallas/Waco. Her mom responded to her concern by saying - “Go to dinner. You don’t have to marry him.” 😉
