Our Wedding

Our love story

<p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; text-align: center;">Our love story began on eHarmony in 2018. We began messaging through eHarmony and a few weeks later on June 30, 2018 we met for the first time at a local Starbucks. From the first date we found we had quite a bit in common and both knew there would be a second date. Within a week we met for our second date. In the months to come as we got to know each other more and more we found that there were many times our paths nearly crossed. We have both said that we wish we had met sooner but God has a plan and we finally found each other when the time was right. On Christmas eve 2019 as we sat by the fountain at a local park we began talking about the future. It was at that time we both said we were ready to take the next step.&#160; Three months later on March 28, 2020 Dennis proposed back at the same fountain we had sat by on Christmas eve. We have had many wonderful experiences over the past 2 years and are very excited for many more to come as we begin our lives together. </p>

Kimberly and Courtney met in 2002 on the first day of their sophomore year at Monrovia High School. They became closer friends while attending Cal Poly Pomona. Kimberly and Courtney were also roommates for a bit . From high school to college and beyond Kimberly and Courtney have had many great experiences and  adventures, some of which may show up in her speech at the wedding. 

Courtney Blackburn

Kimberly and Helen met in 2001 when they became neighbors. A few years later they found that they had a friend in common, Courtney Blackburn.  They went to different colleges but reconnected after college and have remained great friends.

Helen Odgers

Stephanie is married to Kimberly's younger brother Chris and is the sister she never had.  Stephanie and Kimberly have bonded over their love of knitting and crochet as well as an occasional wine and paint night. 

Stephanie Hanke 

Kimberly and Melissa met during their junior year at Monrovia High School. They became closer friends during their time attending Cal Poly Pomona. Despite Melissa living thousands of miles away in Tennessee they have remained great friends.
