Pick up &amp; drop off location: Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort - 1507 Lincoln Ave, Calistoga, CA 94515. 1st pick up: 4pm2nd pick up: 4:30pm Venue Departure1st departure: 10pm2nd departure 10:45 The shuttle bus holds 26 people and will be on a first come first serve basis. The shuttle bus will make two trips each for pick up and drop offs. The transport company is True Elegance Worldwide Ground Transportation. Gayle is our onsite travel coordinator for pick ups from Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort. FYI: about 35 people RSVP'd for transportation.

FAQ's

Feel free to dust off the tux, but no need to! We’re aiming for polished, comfortable, and celebratory.Our ceremony will be held outdoors, with dinner and dancing indoors, and guests are welcome to enjoy the entire vineyard property throughout the evening. We recommend dressing with both comfort and the setting in mind.Women - Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates are all great options. Heels are welcome, but block heels, wedges, or flats may be more comfortable for walking on vineyard grounds.Men - Suits or sport coats with dress pants are perfect. Ties are encouraged but optional. A tuxedo is welcome if that’s your style, just not required.

Things to do in CalistogaWhile you're in town, here are a few local favorites to explore between wedding events: 1. Wine Tastings at Local VineyardsCalistoga is home to some of Napa Valley’s most charming and relaxed wineries. Consider a tasting at some of our favorite spots! Castello di Amorosa - a vast Tuscan-style castle winery with rich history. Tamber Bey - perfect if you want to pet some horses as you sip wine stable side. Sterling Vineyards - Perched 300 feet above the town of Calistoga, Sterling Vineyards offers panoramic views of Napa Valley. A unique gondola carries visitors up to the hilltop winery, whose iconic architecture was modeled after that of the Greek island of Mykonos, where Sterling founder Peter Newton once lived. Tank Garage Winery - a bit more casual in downtown Calistoga specializing in small batch wine blends. Kind of like a local wine tap room! 2. Calistoga’s Famous Hot Springs &amp; SpasUnwind with a soak or a spa treatment at one of Calistoga’s geothermal spas. Indian Springs and Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort are both great for a relaxing mud bath, massage, or a quick dip in the mineral pools. 3. Located nearby downtown Napa, this sprawling marketplace features a riverside deck, several brick &amp; mortar food vendors, local produce, and local keepsakes. Things to Do & Places to Eat

After the stars aligned, we were paired for a group project during our senior-year marketing class at Cal Poly in the spring of 2013. I was enamored by her gorgeous, intelligent, and grounded presence. But, of course, I was far too shy to show any sign of interest. Instead, my disinterest in school at that point, combined with my poorly representative “resting bitch face” left Kim with the impression that I was just another jocky frat star coasting through his final group project before graduation. (Thank you, Kim, for carrying me to that “A” in the class.) A few nights before the graduation ceremony, I finally took my shot and asked her out for a night on the town to reminisce on all the classic San Luis Obispo spots. It was a date to remember, but it came too late to lay the foundation for a relationship, with only days before we each went our separate ways into the real world. Over the years, we exchanged a few scattered and forgettable Facebook DMs. Then, in 2022, fate intervened again. We had both relocated to Oakland, and thanks to the grace of Silicon Valley Gods, Hinge brought us back together, and we matched! What Kim didn’t know at the time was that I had already made plans to move back home to my parents’ place in Vacaville to save for a future down payment on a house. However, as it turned out, this became a blessing in disguise. The distance in those early dating months pushed us to spend more intentional, meaningful time together. Our shared love for cooking had us whipping up all kinds of meals, from scratch-made enchiladas, pizzas, and pastas to wok-fired Mongolian BBQ. We spent many weekends exploring the Bay Area: watching the slow demise of the A’s at the Coliseum, racing go-karts through San Francisco and Sausalito, sipping rum runners by Clear Lake, traveling the coastline chasing Hog Island Oysters or Pacifica’s infamous Taco Bell Cantina at the beach. The highlight came when we embarked on our first international vacation: two unforgettable weeks eating and exploring our way through Japan. We passed the vacation trial with flying colors! Those adventures, and countless late-night dates, rekindled the feeling I had back in 2013. This girl has that rare, special something you only find once… or, in my case, twice in a lifetime. A year later, we moved into a cozy in-law suite at the base of Mt. Diablo in Walnut Creek. Our onsite landlord/pseudo-grandfather has had a front-row seat as our relationship has grown and deepened through so many of life’s milestones. Then came January 10th, 2025, Kim’s birthday weekend. I had found the perfect bed and breakfast, just blocks from her favorite boutique restaurant in San Francisco’s Mission District. With the help of Chase Goodson, it became the perfect, serene setting to capture our proposal, before celebrating later that night at Kim’s go-to spot, Mr. Pollo. Disguising the proposal as a birthday staycation made for the perfect cover, and somehow I managed to pull off the surprise. I’m beyond lucky to have such a willing, joyful, and enthusiastic partner to adventure through life with. My home is with Kim. I’ve never felt more confident that she is my everything, my best friend, my mossling, and the one who inspires me to be my best self in every situation.
