The Story of Kim and Alexander began before they ever met. Both of them, in their own way, prayed that the Lord would find them their perfect match. The Lord answered their prayers and brought them together in the Spring of 2022.

Their first date took place at the Nashville Zoo. They had a great time seeing all the animals, learning about each other, riding the zipline, and getting dip and dots. Kim took Alexander to see her favorite animal, the red pandas. Afterwards, Alexander took Kim to see one of his favorite animals, the porcupines. When Kim and Alexander first approached the porcupines, the porcupines were hiding and couldn't be seen. After a few minutes they decided to leave. As they walked towards another exhibit, Kim felt bad they couldn't enjoy the porcupines the same way they enjoyed the red pandas. She looked back and saw the porcupines had moved from hiding. In excitement, she grabbed Alexander's hand and pulled him back to the porcupine exhibit. They both enjoyed the critters. Kim was nervous. How could she easily grab Alexander's hand on their first date. After some time, Alexander broke the silence, "This is nice." Kim was relieved.

After the zoo, neither of them was ready for the date to end, so they went and got smoothies across the street. It was a refreshingly cool treat on a hot summer day!

As time went on the two of them went on many more dates.

Going to the movies, trying new foods, playing board games and much more.

One day while they were on a walk; Alexander asked Kim to be his girlfriend in Spanish! She said yes, and they both celebrated by going to Chick-fil-a.

From then on, Chick-fil-a has always been special to the both of them, and they continued to have adventures with each other every weekend.

It was time to meet each other's parents. Kim met Alexander's parents in Pinkerton Park, where they had a nice picnic and played cribbage. Stories were shared among everyone over lemonade and delicious treats.

Alexander met Kim's parents and sister Jeanine while they were visiting Nashville. Alexander told her dad that his intentions were to marry Kim. Kim's dad was surprised by Alexander's boldness but approving. The next day, Kim's parents met Alexander's parents and they all had a great time.

Durning December of 2023, Kim and Alexander went to Albuquerque New Mexico (Kim's hometown) for Christmas and stayed at her parents' house. It was hard for Alexander to sleep from excitement. On Christmas Day Alexander proposed to Kim and she said yes!

Afterwards Alexander and Kim hiked up one of the local volcanos. To Alexander's surprise and delight, Kim had a ring for him too, and proposed to him atop one of the peaks.

The two of them have been happily engaged ever since!

The next step in the adventure of our lives together feels like it is fast approaching. The day of our wedding, how exciting!

It has been quite the adventure we have had together, with lots of joy, excitement, and surprises.

Who knows where we will go, but wherever the Lord takes us, we will be together. 💕
