The venue is called Staubach Creek Ranch and it is located in Winston, MT. Winston is about 25 minutes from downtown Helena, the capital of Montana and about 13 minutes from the small town of Townsend. We have room blocks at two hotels. The Best Western Premier Helena and the DoubleTree by Hilton Helena Downtown. Please reference the Harmon/Fritz wedding to receive the discounted rate. The Best Western room rate is $220 for double queen rooms and the deal expires 45 days prior to the wedding date. The DoubleTree by Hilton has rooms for $229 and the deal expires 30 days prior to the wedding.

It can be very helpful to have a car in Montana. The state is very spread out and although there are Uber/Lyft services, it can be very expensive because of the distances you need to travel. You can fly into Helena airport, but it is a very small airport. A larger airport is the Bozeman airport, which is just over 1 hour from the wedding venue.

Options to fly to Helena airport or Bozeman. Bozeman is a larger airport and will most likely have less expensive fares.

Our wedding venue is allowing campers on the ranch for no charge. If you have a camper you would like to hook up, it will be $30 per camper.

We will have a shuttle option to drop the group off downtown Helena after the wedding.

Canyon Ferry Lake (a portion of the Missouri River) is within 10 minutes of the wedding venue. There are campsites and cabins along the water (White Earth Recreation Area and Cottonwood Campground).

We definitely want to welcome all of our guests that are traveling from near and far! In the evening, pre-fireworks celebration for the 4th of July, we plan to make our way to East Helena. There is an event at the Kleffner with food trucks, drinks, dancing, live music, and at 10:30 PM, the fireworks begin. We would love to see you there and the wedding party will start arriving at about 7 PM. Don't let us hold you back, the party starts at 3:30 PM at the Kleffner if you're interested in checking it out earlier!
