Wedding Party

Sara Coffey
Sara Coffey - Maid of Honor
Sara and Kinsey met just before their first year of college at Northwestern on their "official visit" to get some quality time with the cross country team and determine if the school was a good fit for them both. On that trip, Sara was apprehensive of Kinsey because of her goofy demeanor and offhand jokes. When they both committed to run at Northwestern and spend the next four years together at the same school, they would soon find out if their personalities would mesh or clash. It didn't take long for them both to realize that they were soul sisters. Both originating from the Wisconsin area and making their way to IL, they shared a love of adventure and exploring the city. They were both spontaneous and loved to procrastinate most of their homework projects. Those similarities, combined with just the right amount of ADHD and extroverted nature, they couldn't be separated after they came together at Northwestern in 2014. Since college, Sara has come to visit Kinsey in every city she's lived in, and now calls Bozeman her second home after coming out to visit four times in less than one year!
Brooke Cline
Brooke Cline - Bridesmaid
Brooke and Kinsey were also in the same class in college, both on the cross country team together at Northwestern. They quickly became friends. As the years went on, Kinsey admired Brooke for her hard work and diligence with all academic endeavors. Her ability to stick with a study session was unparalleled. She is also incredibly organized and is usually the first person to complete a task once assigned. Kinsey swears that at least some of her friend's habits have rubbed off on her over the years. Brooke was a California girl that came to brave the Midwest winters riding bikes with her team through the snow to get to practice. Fast forward to last year, Kinsey stood by Brooke's side when she married Jared in Newport Beach, CA. Their family is growing as they expect their first baby girl.
Stephanie Nickel
Stephanie Nickel - Bridesmaid
Stephanie is Kinsey's older sister. For as long as Kinsey can remember, she has looked up to Steph. She remembers drawing with her sister, going shopping at antique stores and candy shops in the town they grew up in, and even remembers learning to straighten her hair for the first time from her big sister. Stephanie is married to her husband Kevin and they have four kids--Collin, Landon, Quinn and Gwen. When Kinsey went to school at Northwestern, the family would come up to Evanston from where they live in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago, to play along the lakefront and support Kinsey all the way through her college graduation. It was a huge blessing for Kinsey throughout college and post-college to have family so close by and four of the most fun kids to play with.
Natascha Freeman
Natascha Freeman - Bridesmaid
Natascha and Kinsey met briefly back in 2018 when Kinsey was in college and she moved with her family to Chicago. She babysat Natascha's four kids a couple of times and was re-introduced to the family in 2019 when she worked for them. Natascha is a fun loving, adventurous soul and was always incredibly supportive of Kinsey and her dreams. Natascha, her husband Randy, and their family were there when Kinsey prepared her van to travel across the country after the pandemic hit. Both Kinsey & Natascha love going on long walks and hikes in the mountains and near the lake in Evanston and they are both very interested in health and wellness.
Allison Chapman
Allison Chapman - Bridesmaid
Kinsey and Allie met the first day after Kinsey's move from the Midwest to the Wild West. Allie is from Wisconsin originally and had a few years under her belt in Bozeman. The two met through their mutual friend, Grace, when they went horseback riding. Allie is incredibly kind and generous, and was a part of the incredible group of girls that welcomed Kinsey to Bozeman. They spent the summer hiking, camping, going to concerts, and adventuring all over the mountains together with friends. They even came across a grizzly bear, a moose and many other bears in Glacier National park on a camping trip. A year and a half of living in the same place felt like Kinsey knowing Allie for a lifetime.
Heather Al Chamaa
Heather Al Chamaa - Bridesmaid
Heather and Kinsey met back in middle school in the town they grew up in (Berlin, WI). They both played the alto saxophone together in the band. Sitting next to each other proved difficult for Kinsey when Heather would play scales and throw the band off tune, only to have the entire alto saxophone section scorned by the band director. Heather was silly and Heather and Kinsey found themselves laughing more than they played. Fast forward to high school and they became very close friends. As Kinsey has moved around the country, Heather is close by visiting her at each new city and place. She is a great friend and currently lives in Milwaukee with her husband, Mo, and their dog Kona. Two years ago, Kinsey had the honor of standing by Heather's side in her wedding in Milwaukee.
Malerie Harmon
Malerie Harmon - Bridesmaid
Malerie is Kinsey's younger sister. Growing up, Malerie was the sweetest little sister. Eager to please and quick to be very generous with quality time, creating fun games to play and making gifts for Kinsey and her brother Gavin. They ran together in high school on the cross country and track & field teams, and were able to be a part of relay teams and record-breaking teams during their time competing together. They were able to compete on the same team for two years before Kinsey left for college. Malerie would frequently come to Evanston and Chicago to visit Kinsey and spend time at college with her and her friends. Recently, Malerie and Kinsey competed in a Spartan race together in the Bridger Mountains next to Bozeman. The muddy race along with a weekend of exploring Montana was incredible.
Jeremy Kugler
Jeremy Kugler - Best Man
Erik and Jeremy first met in the throws of first grade at Canyon Creek School. They went through communion and confirmation together. He was the new kid in Erik's class and they became attached at the hip as soon as they crossed paths. Their mothers became close friends and began going to church together and spending time with each other as their families were involved in the community together. They went to high school on opposite ends of Billings, but maintained their close connection throughout. They shared a mutual love for the military and joined the 592nd Ordinance Company together before heading to Montana State University to college. They were roommates and were both exercise science majors. They love fitness, mountain biking and adventure. Erik and Jeremy have been "brothers" from the beginning of time.
Sam Posey
Sam Posey - Groomsman
Erik and Sam met in the Army when Sam returned from training. He was a tall, skinny cow puncher from Red Lodge, MT with a modest and determined demeanor. The group instantly loved his spirit and welcomed him into the group. They have been friends for many years since. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have a human Swiss Army knife as a best friend, look no further. Sam has been my go-to guy for everything—great workouts, good whiskey, and somehow always having a spare ratchet strap when you need one. He’s the kind of guy you’d trust to plan an impromptu road trip, wrangle a runaway horse, or help plan a fun, adventurous weekend with the guys.
Isaac Fritz
Isaac Fritz - Groomsman
Erik's brother, Isaac, has played a pivotal role in Erik's life since day one. With countless hours in the back country together, they are a force to be reckoned with. Whether wrangling rapids, riding horseback, or chasing elk through the early winter blizzards, no task is too daunting for the two brothers in tandem. Isaac taught Erik the importance of an independent lifestyle and the sense of adventure, teasing us all with his non traditional ventures around the globe. Isaac inspired Erik's year long trip to Australia. The two graduated from MSU Bozeman with the highest honors charm could buy. Isaac is joined with his wife, Hannah and daughter, Annika.
Joe Hilpert
Joe Hilpert - Groomsman
The guy who somehow does it all—ambitious, responsible, and still always the life of the party. Joe is the friend who sets big goals and actually follows through (which is impressive, considering most of us just talk about getting our lives together). He’s the one making moves in his career, planning his next big adventure, and somehow still managing to be the guy who keeps us all on track. But don’t let the responsibility fool you—he knows how to have a good time and will 100% be leading the charge when the dance floor starts heating up. Erik and Joe met in college and have been close friends ever since!
Drew Nordman
Drew Nordman - Groomsman
If reliability had a face, it would be this guy. Drew has been around through thick and thin, always ready to lend a hand or crack a joke at Erik's expense (which, to be fair, is usually deserved). He’s the type of friend you call when you need backup—whether it’s moving furniture or moving on from a bad decision.
Josh Francisco
Josh Francisco - Groomsman
The most low-key troublemaker in the group. Josh has a way of making things just interesting enough to keep things fun but not too interesting that we end up with a story we can’t tell Kinsey’s family. He’s quick with a joke, even quicker to help out, and absolutely the guy you want in your corner—unless you’re playing poker against him.
Skyler Ausen
Skyler Ausen - Groomsman
This guy? One of a kind. He once convinced me that we could fix a truck with duct tape and optimism. (Spoiler: We couldn’t.) But that’s what makes him great—he’s always got a plan, even if it’s mostly vibes. Expect him to bring unmatched enthusiasm, questionably sourced wisdom, and possibly a bolo tie to this wedding.
