Singing silly songs to our cats, going birding, visiting local thrift shops, naps, traveling to national parks, and watching scary movies (Matteo finds supernatural ones the scariest, and Klara loves a good psychological thriller).

Inasmuch as there can be a "first move" on dating apps, Klara sent the first message, but Matteo suggested coffee first! Our first date was at Blue Bottle Coffee in Cambridge, MA.

Matteo makes a mean vegan chili (using Impossible Meat!) and Klara's miso-glazed salmon is quite tasty.

Matteo is excellent at tying complicated knots (thanks, Boy Scouts and sailing!) It comes in handy whenever we need to strap something to the roof of the car, like a Christmas tree or something cool we found at a thrift shop. Klara is an avid watercolor artist - to make table numbers for the wedding, she and her dad teamed up to watercolor the state birds of all states she and Matteo have visited together!

Matteo, 1000%. But no one DJs and copilots like Klara on long road trips.
