Yuko and I met in a Bangkok cafe a little over five years ago. When she sat down, ordered a vodka martini, and lit up a cigar at 9am, I knew she was the lady for me:)

Kidding aside, we meet in a cafe via an online date and quickly became friends. Since we both work in the jewelry industry, it was easy to communicate even with a a language gap. From that point on, we went for adventures around Bangkok (sometimes in the pouring rain) and began building a relationship.

Over the next few years we took turns visiting one anther (our first trip was to Krabi Thailand). When not side by side, we talked on the phone every single day to keep a close connection with one another.

Last spring, just after she told me "Jay, you are getting old and needed to get married soon", I decided to propose :)
